In my first ever garden I grew forget-me-nots and love-lies-bleeding. I was six and I chose these seeds because I liked the names, in my mind’s eye I imagined what they were going to look like.
For 15 years now I have owned my own florist company and every day I choose flowers and imagine what they are going to look like once the team have worked their design magic on them.
We mostly work on events held in many of the glorious buildings London is home to. Beautiful historic buildings such as the Natural History Museum, Banqueting House and the National Gallery, others breathtakingly urban and contemporary like Tate Modern.
It never ceases to thrill me to design flowers for a forthcoming party and then, once the public have left the venue see Tate Britain or wherever we are transform with lighting, production and our lovely flowers into a glittering , magical, inviting stage for another memorable event.
My and my client’s dreams have come true!
